Adolescents

The Adolescent Inpatient Program provides mental health treatment for teens ages 13-18 in a safe and therapeutic environment. This program can treat depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma related disorders, and all other mental health disorders.

Patients receive an individualized treatment plan devised by a psychiatrist, case manager, mental health associates, activities therapists, and nurses. The treatment team works with schools to give patients a smooth transition back into the classroom, and an external tutoring agency helps them with schoolwork. Students are granted excused medical absence while in the program.

After graduating from the inpatient program, adolescent patients can step-down to a partial hospitalization for continued treatment in an outpatient setting.

Please read our Adolescent Inpatient handbook for complete details on the program.
