Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment
Inpatient treatment at Pembroke Hospital provides short-term, intensive and secure treatment to stabilize patient’s mental health crisis. Inpatient care includes 24-hour nursing care and a broad range of psychiatric intervention methods.
Discharge planning with family and other involved parties helps patients move as quickly as possible to a less intensive level of care or an appropriate aftercare service.
Pembroke Hospital treats teens, adults and older adults on separate, dedicated units. Patients work with a multidisciplinary treatment team overseen by a psychiatrist who designs an individualized treatment plan for each of
