Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed private psychiatric facility located on the south shore of Pembroke, Massachusetts. Our licensed and accredited facility is home to adult, teen and older adult inpatient programs, as well as partial hospitalization programs for teens and adults. Pembroke Hospital Appoints New Director of Nursing
Pembroke Hospital is pleased to announce the selection of new Director of Nursing, Lucille Force. Lucille has a wide-spread work history with regards to nursing. Lucille spent 20 years working for Women & Infants in Providence, RI as Nurse Manager. She continued on to serve as Director of Maternal Child Health at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. Later she served as Associate Chief of Nursing Officer for Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, MA. Lucille has also served as Chief Nursing Officer at Westwood/Pembroke Health System and later, Chief Nursing Officer for Walden Behavioral Care. Lucille earned an Associate degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, A Master’s Degree in Health Administration, and finally, a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Lucille is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, has two sons, and enjoys to travel. Welcome, Lucille!
Pembroke Hospital Appoints New Director of Clinical Services
Pembroke Hospital has selected Patrick Gorman to be the new Director of Clinical Services effective Dec 30, 2019. Patrick has an extensive history of working in acute psychiatric settings including inpatient psychiatric facilities, mobile crisis, and emergency department triage. Most recently, Patrick served as the clinical supervisor and program director for a family counseling center in Brockton, MA. He currently provides outpatient psychotherapy in private practice in addition to his role as Pembroke Hospital’s Director of Clinical Services. Patrick is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degree from Bridgewater State University.
Pembroke Hospital Appoints New CEO
On August 5, 2019, Michael Perry of East Haven, Connecticut, joined Pembroke Hospital as chief executive officer. He succeeds Ray Robinson, whom held the position from 2017 to 2019.
Perry has over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He served as CEO of Michiana Behavioral Health from January 2014 to July 2019. Prior to that, he served as CEO of the Midwest Center for Youth and Families, Charter Behavioral Health Systems of Northwest Indiana and Westbridge Treatment Center/Century Healthcare of Arizona.
Perry is dedicated to improving the lives of youth and adults struggling with behavioral, emotional and addiction issues. His management philosophy is “to support staff and provide them with the resources necessary to provide quality treatment programs for patients of all ages.” Perry earned his bachelor’s degree in youth services from Wesleyan College and his master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.
Pembroke Hospital Appoints New Medical Director
Pembroke Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ashhal Jastaniah as Medical Director effective December 17, 2018. In this role, Dr. Jastaniah is responsible for the oversight of clinical programs, supervision of the medical staff, maintaining compliance with the requirements of regulatory agencies, collaboration with hospital leadership and representing the hospital in professional affiliations with community providers.
Dr. Jastaniah joined Pembroke Hospital’s Medical Staff in March of 2017 as an Associate Medical Director overseeing and providing care in the hospital’s inpatient adolescent unit and both the adult and adolescent partial hospital programs.
“I look forward to working with Dr. Jastaniah in this new capacity,” said Pembroke Hospital CEO Raymond Robinson, MBA. “He has a strong track record of positive patient outcomes, leadership and operational capabilities at our facility. I am confident his experience will be invaluable in helping us continue in our mission of providing exceptional mental health care.”
Dr. Jastaniah earned his medical degree from the College of Medicine and Allied Sciences at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah Aribia, completed his residency at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of Missouri, a psychopharmacology fellowship at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Missouri. Dr. Jastaniah holds a Board Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
