Pembroke Hospital is proud to offer direct admission from the community to inpatient psychiatric care, without the need for a visit to an emergency room. Our team works closely with community providers and organizations to ensure timely, compassionate support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
Who Can Refer?
Any organization or provider of any level can refer directly.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Primary care and behavioral health providers
- Case managers and care coordinators
- School personnel and crisis teams
- Emergency departments and urgent care centers
- Housing programs, shelters, and nonprofit agencies
What We Treat
- All mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and psychosis
- Dual diagnosis/co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, and acute psychiatric crises

- Counselors and Registered Nurses to provide assessments to establish level-of-care need
- Safe, structured inpatient environment
